Good Afternoon Parents and Guardians:

We have several student clubs that are involved in community projects and are collecting the following items:  canned food, pet food and supplies and coats/warm winter clothing. If you can spare any of these items please feel free to drop off at the main office and help out our students involved in these important community service endeavors.

Our lost and found is piling up. We will keep all lost and found items through 12:00 noon on Friday, November 20th before Thanksgiving break. All items will be donated Friday afternoon. Have your students check the lost and found if they are missing any items.

You may notice in the next week or two...pending good weather, that we will be painting the red border around the top of the school. This is part of our improve Newton project that we have been implementing over the past year. We have painted the front doors and trim, added new signage to the front of the building and the east side, installed our new electronic marquee and will continue to work on other improvements.

We are also in the process of acquiring quotes to have our lockers painted next summer. This is a project that is supported by PTO and we will use PTO funds to pay for the project.
