CMAS TESTING INFORMATION
All students will be testing in their Language Arts or Math classes from April 4th-11th. We will be testing for the first two blocks of everyday (2 hours for each block). April 4th, 5th and 6th students will test in LA or math classes blocks 1/2 and 3/4. April 7th, 10th and 11th will be reverse days, in which case students will only test if they have LA or math period 7/8 or 5/6. For example,if a student has math blocks 1/2 and LA blocks 5/6, then they will test math April 4th, 5th and 6th from 8:00-10:00 AM, and April 7th, 10th and 11th for LA from 10:05 AM-12:10 PM.
April 12th, 13th and 14th are for the 8th grade science test ONLY (no other subjects or grade levels will be tested). 8th graders will test during their science or social studies class for those three days.
The link to the opt out form is now located on our website. You will need to click on the Explore tab, go to district information and click on the state testing opt out link. That form needs to be completed and sent to me. I also sent the form out in an attachment to last weeks newsletter.
We will also place our testing schedule on our website next week.
