Good Afternoon Parents and Guardians:

Arapahoe Credit Union is hosting a Shred-a-thon
Arapahoe Credit Union is hosting a Shred-a-thon for Newton Saturday April 27  9am - 2pm.
We are looking for a few students and parents to sign up to help. Student will receive gift cards for volunteering. If you are interested in helping out follow this link.

New PTO Board Position Openings
Newton PTO is looking for new board members.  Several members have done their job for 2-3 years and are moving on from Middle school.
Open positions

  • President 1 year - plan & run meeting
  • Vice President - 2 year -1st fill in as needed 2nd year- president
  • Fund raising -  this is a fund drive. - so just making & putting out fliers & email reminders. - planning prizes if wanted & slide for back to school night. - aug- oct.  can be done from home does not need to attend meetings
  • Staff appreciation-  set up & plan food & snacks for staff.  Holiday cookie exchange- does not need to attend meetings
  • Backpack program-  set up bags for Friday students to take home & organize food bank room- at school Friday afternoons
  • Community relations- Stride, LPS nights, spirit dinner, & shred-a-thon (with credit union)
  • VIPS-  not like elementary -  just doing sign up genius’s for school events. Vision & hearing, code cart, reporting hours to district

High School Mountain Bike Team
8th graders attending Heritage High School next year and are interested in joining the Mountain Bike Team, there will be a parent and student informational meeting at Heritage High School Student Center on Monday, May 6th at 6pm. Please email heritagemtb@gmail.com with any questions.

8th graders attending Littleton High School next year and are interested in joining the Mountain Bike Team, there will be a parent and student informational meeting at Littleton High School Student Center on Wednesday, May 8th at 6pm.
