Our student backpack program needs a little support for the rest of the year.  We are looking for parents to come in on Friday afternoon and set up the food bank back packs and put them out for students to take home. It takes about an hour. Please sign up here.

Parent Workshop - Marijuana
Our  parent community is invited to attend a Parent Workshop hosted at Euclid on Thursday, May 9th 6:30 - 8:00 PM entitled Opening the Conversation about Marijuana. It is presented by a group with the Colorado Department of Health and Environment in conjunction with LPS (Jill Wilschke) who will educate parents and other trusted adults about retail marijuana.
The workshop  will cover the following topics:
  • Marijuana and the law/ legal standpoint
  • How marijuana affects the brain
  • How marijuana affects general health
  • Forms and methods of marijuana consumption
The focus is for parents of middle school aged students and includes interactive exercises. If there is a need, the presentation will be offered simultaneously en espanol. See the attached flyer for information. Feel free to share. It would be great to have a large engaged audience.

We are still short a few Race Marshal's in each grade level to assure the safety of our students when they are out running their race. We still need 3 more people in 6th grade, 5 people in 8th grade and 2 people in 7th grade to fill all of the needs slots.  Please click here to sign up and help us out. Contact Mr. Blake or Ms. Ubrun if you have any questions.  Again thank you to everyone we are so fortunate to have the parents we do that help make this such a fun event.
