Staff Appreciation Cookie Donation
Newton's PTO Staff Appreciation committee is hosting the much anticipated annual cookie exchange for the staff in conjunction with their silent auction on Friday, December 13. Cookies may be delivered after school on Thursday, Dec. 12 or by 9 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 13. Please drop off your items at the front desk. If you have questions contact Cody Sherrod at csherrod@du.edu

No Place for Hate/PBIS Update:
November was deemed gratitude month. We had our students write thank you notes to themselves that we will return to them later in the year. You have to love and appreciate yourself before you can be thankful for others. Please take time this Holiday Season to ask your student what they are grateful for about themselves.
December is a month of generosity. Each homeroom class is going to adopt an organization and show their generosity. Ask your student which organization their class chose and what they can do to show their generosity this holiday season.
As always, thank you for all of your help and support in teaching your students these important life lessons.
2020 Middle School All State Choir
Four of our students made it into the 2020 Middle School All State Choir. This is a big deal as thousands of kids audition and only around 200 make it in. I'll be sure to pass along more information for the performance when we get a little closer (February 7, 7pm, Bellco Theater). Please help me congratulate the following students:
