Attention Eighth Grade Parents and Students
I have information regarding ninth grade registration for our current eighth grade students from Heritage High School and Littleton High School. I don’t have any information from Arapahoe High School so if you are attending Arapahoe High School in the fall I suggest you check their website.

  • Littleton High School incoming ninth grade registration night:  February 6th, 6:00 pm
  • Heritage High School incoming ninth grade registration night:  February 4th, 6:00 pm

New Building Information
RTA Architects has created a four minute video tour of their model for the new Newton Middle School (Dropbox link below).  RTA had displayed a preview version of this video in Newton’s final DAG meeting in November, and the response from the attendees was extremely positive.  The LPS administrators that were present at the meeting thought it would be a great addition to the bond update website.

This video shows a realistic, to-scale depiction of the actual building design, including renderings of the finish materials and colors that have been selected.  It “flies” around the exterior of the building and travels through the secure front entry vestibule, down the main hallway, and into the cafetorium/commons.  (Furniture has not been selected for the new school yet, so the furniture that is shown here is representative.)  The outdoor dining, learning and recreation areas are also shown from several angles. Please access the video via the link below.

We will begin to see activity around our site in February, I will send out phase I of the construction plan again next week.

Have a great weekend
James O’Tremba
Principal Newton Middle School
