THANK YOU to our wonderful NMS community!
We collected $900 (!!!) for our SROs and the K9 team! $200 was donated to the Back the Blue K9 Force (the money will be used specifically to help pay vet bills for Rex, who recently had knee surgery). $700 was split evenly between Deputy Travis and Deputy John, with $350 worth of gift cards to Target, Amazon, Chipotle and Starbucks for each of them, along with some Christmas chocolates and - of course - treats for the dogs. The gifts were hand delivered to Travis and John at the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office HQ on Wednesday, presented on behalf of all NMS families: both deputies were extremely grateful. Your incredible generosity is much appreciated - thank you!
Climate, Safety and Wellness Inventory:
As part of our ongoing efforts to promote a safe and healthy culture at Newton Middle School, we are asking for your feedback through the district Climate, Safety and Wellness Inventory (CSWI). The survey will be open through December 22, 2022. It is a brief, anonymous survey that can be accessed through this link. https://surveys.panoramaed.com/littletonpublicschools/famfall22/surveys?language=en
If you have children at multiple schools, you can choose to complete a survey for each school or choose the school where you would most like to share your voice. Survey data is used to help Littleton Public Schools with continuous improvement to meet the needs of students and to support inclusive and safe environments for all students and staff. Please visit the LPS website for more information about the survey content.
We encourage your participation and support and look forward to reviewing this important feedback.
Have a great weekend. Four days to go to winter break.
James O’Tremba
Principal, Newton Middle School
