Good Evening Parents, Guardians and Students:

PBIS Raffle Needs

The PBIS (CODE) team is looking to have a raffle giveaway of gift bags or baskets for students at the end of the year using the CODE cards they have earned throughout the year.  Students would win these baskets if their CODE card is drawn.  We would like the gift bags or baskets to each be some type of theme like a beach towel and bubbles, movie ticket with microwave popcorn, Elitch gift card, or restaurant gift card.

The goal is 20 baskets per grade level and we need to have the baskets completed and ready by Friday, May 10th.

Jesse Andrews would love to talk with someone or a group of someones to spearhead getting this completed.  Please email her at jandrews@lps.k12.co.us to let her know if you are interested in organizing people to create the bags/baskets.

We do have a budget set aside for this so you will not be responsible for fundraising or collecting any donations.

Newton Knight Out Information:

Fat Sully's, our Restaurant Knight back in February, is sending us a check for $659. Thanks to all of our families who participated at the event!

We will have our final Restaurant Knight of the year at Zell's Panini & Crepes on Tuesday, April 30th. The event is all day and 20% will go back to Newton when you mention you're with Newton.

Mountain Bike Clinic

The mountain bike coach for the combined Heritage/Littleton mountain bike team asked if I would share the attached flyer. This free clinic, hosted by the Colorado High School Cycling League, is for girls grades 6-12th who are interested in mountain biking.

Thanks and have a great weekend.
