Good Afternoon Parents and Guardians:
CMAS Testing Information
Newton will begin our annual CMAS testing on Thursday, April 5, 2018. Students will be tested during their math and language arts classes. April 5th, 6th and 9th students will test if they have language arts or math first or third block. April 10th, 12th and 13th students will test in their language arts or math class if they have it 7th or 5th block. Testing will occur from 7:55 AM-12:10 PM each day.
On Wednesday, April 11th, 8th graders will take all three sections of the science test throughout the day with the same teacher; 7th grade will take all three sections of the social studies test throughout the day with the same teacher. 6th graders will have a relatively normal schedule that day.
Please try to avoid appointments during those times as students will have to complete make-up tests if they miss a session.

LPS Flyer on Marijuana
Please click here to access a flyer put out by LPS regarding marijuana, juuling, vape pens etc. and how it affects students. These are big issues facing your children and are becoming an epidemic in our state. If you have any questions please let me know.
Have a great weekend.
