Good Morning Parents, Guardians and Students:
Please mark your calendar for Wednesday, October 13th, we will be conducting in person, arena conferences. Conferences will be held from 4:30 to 8:00 pm. All visitors will need to wear a mask. We are looking forward to the event.
Newton’s Yearbook Staff strives to tell the story of the whole school year by including as many students as possible. And we need your help! We’re looking for photos of your child’s SUMMER and OUT-OF-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES. Send us pictures of your student traveling, hiking, enjoying backyard fun, doing martial arts, skateboarding, playing an instrument, doing gymnastics, etc. You can share these great photos easily at www.hjeshare.com, school code: nms2021. We cannot guarantee that your photo will be used, though we will consider any activity. Stay tuned for more photo requests this school year! Contact Karin Svigel with questions at ksvigel@lps.k12.co.us.
We need your assistance:
Mask reminder: We have been running short on our mask supply, we have been distributing upwards of 100 per day. Please remind your students to bring a mask to school as this is required by Tri-County Health. If we are out of our supply and your child needs a mask we will need to contact you to bring a mask to school and we’ll need to keep the student in the main office until the mask arrives. Thank you for your assistance!
