NMS Book Drive
NJHS will be hosting a book drive March 20-24th to benefit BookGive. Books will be collected in each of the pods. Our school-wide goal is to collect 500 books. Thank you in advance for supporting literacy and our greater Denver community.
BookGive distributes new and nearly new books to over 350 organizations. They are most in need of:
NEW books for children and adults (you can purchase online at The Bookies where 10% of book sales supports BookGive)
Books in Spanish for children and adults
Children's books (board books through young adult)
Diverse books for children and adults
General fiction
General nonfiction
PTO Meeting:

Streets of Southglenn:
Newton Middle School is currently in 5th place - help us gain a higher place and possibly win $1000 or more with the latest Street Smarts at Southglenn offer: Get ready for a Spring refresh and earn 25 points per dollar spent at these store March 16-April 30: Apricot Lane Boutique, Lighthearted Boutique, Carla’s a Classic Design, H&M, Old Navy, Pilates Plus, Sur La Table, T is for Table, Woodhouse Day Spa.
Shop, dine, enjoy services at the Streets at SouthGlenn, then submit your receipts to earn $350 to $2,500 for NMS school. Schools earn at least five points per dollar spent. Submit receipts below:

Hats in School:
Just a reminder to students that we are not to wear hats at school. You may wear hats outside during recess only.
LPS Summer School Information:
LPS will again be conducting summer school for middle school students this summer, June 5th through the 29th, 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. If you are interested in registering for summer school please click here for additional information.
