Position Available at Newton Middle School:

Would you be interested in  working at Newton, or know someone who does? We are looking for someone who is positive, dynamic and friendly to work in our health clinic! The ideal candidate will have a desire to support students during school hours, strong decision making abilities, demonstrate flexibility and responsibility, and will want to be part of a dedicated team. We provide on the job training, and the chance to be part of the amazing Newton Middle School team!

Volunteers Needed!

Every year, the district conducts vision and hearing screenings for our 7th graders and select other students.  We are in need of volunteers for 2 hour shifts Monday, February 26-Wednesday, February 28.  If you're interested, please contact Stacey Cruz to sign up!  Scruz@lps.k12.co.us

From our Health Clinic:

Please do not encourage your child to communicate directly with you via cell phone or wrist phone technology in the event of illness or safety concern. For their safety, it is expected that students communicate with their teacher and the office in these situations.

Students attending Middle School Events:

Just a reminder to all students that are attending after school events here at Newton. We do not allow any food or drink in the gym during these events. We also expect appropriate behavior and for you to follow all school rules. If these guidelines cannot be followed you will be asked to leave the event.
