Good Evening Parents, Guardians and Students:

LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL INFORMATION:

For the last week of school schedule please access this link. This includes eighth grade continuation rehearsal time, continuation time, yearbook distribution, sixth and seventh grade recognition awards ceremonies, chromebook return etc.

As we wind down and wrap up the school year we will be cleaning out our lost and found after school on Tuesday, May 21st. All water bottles, clothing, lunch boxes will be either discarded or taken to Goodwill. Please encourage your student to look through the red cubbies in the lunch room for any misplaced items.

The Seventh and Eighth grade choir and Knight Notes performance will be held Monday, May 20th, 7:00 pm. Mrs. Bright will return to school on Monday to her teaching position and conduct the concert that evening.

Eighth grade continuation will be held on Thursday, May 23rd at 2:00 pm. We will allow students and families in the building at 1:30 pm. Please line up at the athletic entrance. We will have limited parking so I suggest you try to car pool or arrive early. We have limited handicap parking spaces so you may need to arrange to drop people with special needs in our drop off lane. We will have someone operating the elevator if this is needed. The elevator is located just inside of the athletic entrance and to the left.

When the doors open at 1:30 parents will access the gym on the lower level. A majority of seating is in the bleachers. However, we will have approximately 200 chairs set up behind the eighth graders. The gym will be full so please plan on being here on time.

Eighth graders will enter and report immediately to the cafeteria and sit on the learning stairs. We will collect all cell phones and I will review the continuation procedures with them. Students will then line up as we practiced in rehearsal on Wednesday. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00.

Eighth graders will have continuation rehearsal on Wednesday afternoon during their elective block.

If you have any questions regarding the last week of school please let me know.

Have a great weekend. We are looking forward to enjoyable last week of school.
