February 14th, 2025

The most important reminder is that we have a THREE-Day weekend!  Enjoy the extra time with your family!

Please be sure to have your children look for the coats you sent them with during our last winter spell in our lost and found, and the lockers in the pods… We will be clearing out the lost and found THIS WEEK!!

Unified Basketball THIS Wednesday (please read)

For those of you that don’t know what Unified Basketball is, it is a program for our Center Based students to play basketball against our other Center Based basketball teams at the other schools.  The students play with peers on the floor to create access to playing sports.  Our last game of the season is THIS Wednesday vs. Powell and we would love to see a big show of support for our athletes!  Please come and root on our team and bring signs and be loud!  We would love to really rally around our students and make them feel the love!!  See you there!  It will end around 5pm, if you can coordinate for your child to stay and cheer!!

8th Grade VOLLEYBALL IS COMING SOON!

8th grader girls volleyball started last week!  Reminder that we have practice this Monday, Tuesday, uniform handout Wednesday and practice Thursday.  First game is home on Tuesday Feb 25 at POWELL.

STUCO

Thank you for all of the Val-o-Grams and encourage your chid  to stop by Mrs. Jenkins room (1133) if a purchased item was missed today. Happy Valentines Day! Look forward to more from Stuco in March.

Picking your child up early… What to do???

Just a friendly reminder that if you are going to pick your child up during the school day, PLEASE CALL AHEAD.  If you have an appt at 3pm, call long before then.  It can take upwards of 15 minutes to get your child to the office if you just show up without alerting us ahead of time.

Some options:

  • Call the attendance line

  • Put it in the parent portal in the morning

  • Call the main office line

Remember that you being in a rush does not mean we will be able to find them any faster.

7th Grade Girls Volleyball

7th Volleyball meeting will be Thursday, February 27 during lunch.
