Good Afternoon Parents/Guardians:

This will be my last communication of the school year. All of our upcoming events have been highlighted in previous newsletters which I have posted on my teacher page of our website. Our scrolling calendar also has the upcoming events and our website has special events highlighted. If you have any questions regarding the last week two weeks of school please contact me.

We will be interviewing on Monday the 12^th May for an assistant principal. Mrs. Barrett is relocating back to her home state of Michigan over the summer and we will begin the process of replacing that position. Mrs. Barrett has done a wonderful job the past three years here at Newton and we wish her and her family the best of luck as they return home to Michigan.

Just a reminder that the registration packet for schedule pick up for the fall is posted on our website. If you have any question regarding the registration packet please call the main office.

We look forward to the last two weeks of school with all of the upcoming events that are very exciting for our students. This has been a great school year and I appreciate all of the support from our PTO, Accountability, all of our parents and our staff.

I have two attachments from our Social Worker, Ms. Burns regarding school supplies for the fall for students that may be in need of some assistance. (English or Spanish)

I know we will end the school year on a positive note and I look forward to the 2014-15 school year. Best of luck to our eighth graders who will be continuing on to high school.
