Good Afternoon Parents/Guardians:

Thanks to everyone who attended our back to school night last night. We had a tremendous turn out. I appreciate everyone attending and all of the positive comments. You are a wonderful community and I appreciate all that you do for us.

Last night we had members of our PTO distributing flyers regarding our Discovery Fund Raiser. I encourage everyone to contribute to PTO if you can. Over the years we have funded several items in our building including: remodeling of our mini-theater, document cameras and SMART Boards for teachers, new tables in our cafeteria, hallway rugs etc. This fundraiser is extremely critical to the success of our school and I appreciate your support!

If you haven’t already, please take the time to fill out the Newton PTO Communications and Student Directory Sheet. This is how we create the student directory as well as communicate events and volunteer opportunities throughout the year. You can find the form at:

I also need to remind you to update your information in your family portal account. We need as accurate information as possible.

As you may have noticed our new electronic marquee is up and running. We are seeking two additional sponsors. If you are interested please give me a call at 303-347-7900.
