Good Afternoon Parents/Guardians:
Did you receive a copy of yesterday's PTO newsletter? You
can find a copy of it on the front page of the Newton Website. There is a ton
of great information about programs at Newton, volunteer opportunities and the fund
drive. There is also a link to the Student Directory/Communications form so
that you can be in the student directory. Please take time to check this out!
This year we have taken down the bulletin board across the
hallway from the main office, mainly due to the fact it was an eye sore and
difficult to maintain. We have gone electronic, all district approved flyers
that we used to post on that bulletin board can now be found on our website. To
access this information go to our website, click the Parents Tab and then on
the left hand side in red click the district approved flyers button and they
will all be posted.
If you shop at Target and would like a % of your sales to be
donated to Newton Middle School we are on the Target Take Charge of Education
Website, search for Newton in the City of Centennial and our name will pop up
and you can register. Last year we received around $750.00 from Target.
Newton eighth graders: Have you heard of the Purple and Gold
Do you wonder what it is like to be a lion. Come and visit Littleton
High School. The eighth grade annual Pride Preview showcase night is
Thursday, November 5th at 6:30 pm. Likewise, Arapahoe High School has their
shadow information registration currently open on their website. Please click
on 2015-2016 AHS Shadow Registration for additional information.
