Good Afternoon Parents/Guardians:

Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year. We are excited to be returning to our building. As you may know we have been under construction and closed all summer. Our construction is almost completed and we are ready to begin the year.

I have some important information for you. Schedule pick up will be held on August 12th from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. If you did not pre-pay fees you will need to pay by check or cash on the 12th (no credit cards will be accepted). Students must be accompanied by an adult unless fees were pre-paid.

This year we did not have a large majority of our parents pre-pay as we have in the past so be prepared to spend an extended amount of time in line if you have not pre-paid.

The first day of school is Friday, August 14th. Sixth grade students will begin at 7:54 am and our seventh and eighth grade students will begin at 9:54. Buses will be running for both start times.

Please check the front of our website for information regarding registration information for the fall if you have not completed this. There are six important steps that you need to complete in order to register your child for the school year.

This year the district will be implementing a​ 1:1 computing model. During schedule pickup you will need to make a decision if you want your child to receive a school district laptop that will be checked out to your son/daughter for the school year. You will need to opt in and sign off on the district policy or choose to opt out. All students have an opportunity to be in possession of a district issued laptop if you so choose.

Back to school night for all parents will be held on August 20th at 6:30 pm. We will place the schedule on our website early next week.
