Good Afternoon Parents/Guardians:

The Newton LEGO Stop Motion Video Club is seeking donations, large and small, of LEGOs. You may drop bagged or boxed LEGOs off at the main office or contact Makendra Silverman for more details.

Our backpack program has an immediate need for the following EASY TO CARRY items and no glass containers:

·       Nonperishable Fruits like cups of mixed fruit, peaches, mandarin oranges etc.
·       Peanut butter and jelly.
·       Canned or plastic containers of pasta sauces.
·       Snack foods, granola bars, nutra-grain bars, fruit leather etc.

Students or parents can drop off donations in the box labeled Backpack Program at the front office. If you have any questions, comments or to volunteer please contact Jenna Sellers at jenna.s@cbsaya.com

The 20th Annual Stride 5K/10K walk or run will be Sunday, October 25th.

The Stride is a community fundraiser event, bringing together students, parents, teachers, staff and neighborhoods to focus on health, wellness, community and school spirit. The goal is to promote a healthy and active lifestyle along with building partnerships and support for Littleton Public Schools.

Early registration is NOW open. Register before Friday, September 25th and receive $5 OFF you registration. Go to www.runthestride.com to register and for more information.

Picture retake day is September 24th from 8:00am to 10:00 am. Students who did not have a picture taken on schedule pickup day have been given a packet to bring home today. These students will be given a pass on Thursday with a specific time to report to the mini theater to have their picture taken. Students who are interested in retakes need to bring in their previous picture packet and will be released to the mini theater via PA announcement around 9:40 am.
