Good Afternoon Parents/Guardians:
Today, we kick off the Discover Newton Pledge Drive Push and your student received the attached flyer in homeroom. We have four weeks to reach our goal of $25,000 and 100% participation. Please take a moment to review the flyer and learn how your family can be entered to win a Family "Fun Nights" Package that includes Colorado Avalanche Tickets, Rockies Tickets and a $50.00 gift card to Regal Cinemas. We will be updating our Pledge Drive Push Progress each week this month.
Attention 8th graders! I bet you were really cute as a baby, so why don't you show off your baby face in an ad in the yearbook? Go to the visual arts page on the Newton website and look for yearbook tab to find the flyer! There will be baby ad flyers handed out in homeroom and available in the office! Remember, you don't want to miss this opportunity.
Parent conferences are right around the corner. We will host parent conferences on the 14th and 15th of October from 3:30 to 7:00 pm each evening. We would like last names that begin with A-M to attend on the 14th and N-Z on the 15th. The conferences will be held arena style. Our 6th grade teachers will be available in the cafeteria, our 7th grade teachers will be available in the library and our 8th grade and elective teachers will be available in the gym.
