Good Afternoon Parents/Guardians:
We will begin PARCC/CMAS testing after spring break as I mentioned in my newsletter last week. Attached you will find the district form for opting out of the test. If you are planning on opting your daughter or son out of the testing please complete the attached form and send it to me.
The Newton PTO is an integral part of Newton Middle School. The PTO is currently seeking volunteer parents to fill officer and chairperson positions for the 2016-17 school year. Many of the positions are currently filled by parents of 8th graders who are moving on to high school. Sixth and Seventh grade parents, if you are interested, please contact Lori Wennerstrom, the 2015-16 PTO president at NewtonPTOPres@gmail.com or 720-320-5198 for more information on the open positions.
We still have opportunities for Run With The Knights. We need course marshals for all three grade levels in order to ensure that students are safe running the course. We also have opportunities for donating gift cards. If you interested in volunteering or donating gift cards please go to the front page of the Newton website and access the sign up genius link to sign up.
