Good Afternoon Parents and Guardians:

Attached you will find the invitation to all eighth grade parents for the eighth grade continuation ceremony. We will hand out the card stock invitations to eighth grade students next week. If you have any questions regarding continuation please let me know.

Ellie Burns, eighth grade student was named by the eighth grade teachers the winner of the Friend of Youth award by the Littleton Optimist Club. Ellie will be honored at an Optimist Club Breakfast along with her family on April 22nd. Congratulations to Ellie!

Seventh and eighth graders need to return their end of year field trip forms to the main office by April 22nd. We will not take late forms. We need to honor this deadline as we need accurate numbers in order for us to pay for the trips. Students need to turn in a form even if they are not attending the event. If you choose for your student to not attend the event on May 20th you need to call the attendance line and excuse them for the day.

LIttleton Public Schools will be hosting a Red Cross Community Emergency Preparedness Evening on May 4th, 2016 at the AMES Training Facility. For additional information please check the district website.

Sixth grade volleyball is coming up! Don's miss out on the opportunity to get moving in the mornings and join in on the fun of playing volleyball. There will be an interest meeting on Thursday, April 21st from 2:45 to 3:00 pm. The practices will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the gym before school.

Have a great weekend.

Respectfully,
James O'Tremba
Principal, Newton Middle School
