January 12th, 2017

Good Morning Parents and Guardians:

I am sending my weekly e-mail out early this week due to the fact that I want to get the SCREENAGERS documentary information out to you early.

SCREENAGERS  explores parental struggles over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction and offers solutions to help kids find balance.Through poignant, and unexpectedly funny stories, along with surprising insights from authors, psychologists, and brain scientists, SCREENAGERS reveals how tech time impacts kids’ development and offers solutions on how adults can empower kids to best navigate the digital world and find balance.

To order your tickets please go to the front page of the Newton Middle School website and click on the link. We have a limited amount of tickets available and they are on a first come first serve basis.

The movie night will be held on Wednesday, January 18th at 7:00 pm in our gym. Doors will open at 6:30 pm.

Save the date!  The next Newton Community KNight will be on Tuesday, January 24 at Chipotle, 7515 S. University Blvd (University & Dry Creek across from Arapahoe High School) from 4:30-8:00pm.  It's the evening before an LPS late start so enjoy the first spirit night of 2017 and support Newton!  Just mention Newton and 50% (YES 50%!!) of your sale from dine-in or take-out will be donated to our school.  See you there!

Have a great weekend.
