Dear Newton Middle School Families, Staff,  and Community,

We are proud to share some exciting news: Newton Middle School has been awarded the John Irwin Award for Academic Excellence by the Colorado Department of Education!

This prestigious recognition is given to schools that demonstrate exceptional academic achievement over time, and we are honored to be among the schools recognized for earning an “Exceeds Expectations” rating on the Academic Achievement indicator of the School Performance Frameworks—in the areas of Math, English Language Arts, and Science.

This award reflects the hard work and dedication of our students, the expertise and commitment of our staff, and the strong partnerships we hold with our families and community. Together, we have created a place where students thrive, feel supported, and rise to high expectations each and every day.

We know that academic excellence doesn't happen by chance—it is the result of teamwork, trust, and a shared belief in the success of every learner. Thank you for your continued support, engagement, and encouragement. Your involvement plays a vital role in helping our students achieve at such a high level.

Newton Middle School is a thriving part of the Littleton Public Schools community. We look forward to continuing our journey together, celebrating our successes, and building on this momentum for years to come.

Sincerely,

Todd Lambert
Superintendent
