 Good Evening Parents/Guardians and Students:

IMPORTANT PTO FUNDRAISER INFORMATION:

"HAVE YOU REACHED YOUR TARGET HEART RATE?

Want to know where your donations go? The PTO Annual Fund Drive, the ONE primary fundraiser each school year, directly supports our students and staff. Donations this year will fund teacher/staff appreciation at various times throughout the year and will reimburse Newton for the new and incredible PE fitness lab & heart rate monitors (which were not included in the original mil levy).

So far, we have raised $15,500 towards our goal of $30,000. If you have already made a donation, thank you. If you haven't yet, please help reach our target by donating. The attached flyer has more information and directions. Thank you for supporting our community- NEWton and Improved."

ARAPAHOE HIGH SCHOOL SHADOW DAY INFORMATION:

Arapahoe High School is thrilled to announce our 2021 in-person 8th Grade Shadow Days for the Class of 2026! This is an incredible opportunity for current 8th grade students to visit our building and experience Arapahoe High School. In response to the overwhelming positive feedback we’ve had from previous events, this year we are inviting parents/guardians to participate in the experience with their children. While students are experiencing class visits, parents will have the opportunity to ask questions of our principal, Mrs. Pramenko, and take a tour of our building. We are so excited for this new direction for our Shadow Days and are sure they will be very popular.

Shadow days will take place on Sept 28, Oct 27, Nov 19 or Jan 27 with options for either a morning or an afternoon session. The capacity for each session is 50 students. Students will only be able to bring a maximum of 1 parent to the shadow days. The sign-ups will be posted soon on the Incoming Freshmen Page on the AHS Website.
