 Good Afternoon Parents/Guardians and Students:

Thanks to everyone who joined us for parent conferences on Wednesday. It was great to spend time with some of our parents and have some informal conversations and talk about school too. We had a great evening. If you didn’t have time to join us or have additional questions feel free to contact the teachers and set up another time to discuss your child’s progress with them.

Thanks to our PTO parents who brought in dinner for our staff. It was thoroughly enjoyed and was an excellent manner in which to begin our evening!

PTO Meeting

Please join us for our 2nd PTO meeting on Friday, October 22nd from 9:30-11:00am in-person at Newton. Please bring a friend and a mask. Hope to see you!

Attention Open Enrolled Students

Attention sixth and seventh grade open enrolled students: If you are open enrolled from OUT of DISTRICT, your parents need to complete an “Intent to Renew Form” for next year. Please return this to the main office By November 15th.

Student Pictures

Students received their picture packets in Language Arts classes this week. If you want to have a retake done you will need to return the packets to us. Retake day will be in early November.

Newton Knight Out:

Bad Daddy's Burger Bar Southglenn will be donating 10% of all food sales on October 20th from 5pm-9pm right back to Newton! Bring some friends and family for dinner out…

To-go orders are encouraged directly from their website! All proceeds go directly to the Newton PTO.

Yearbook Information

**Please CHECK THIS LIST to see if you have already purchased a yearbook.** Many families missed where to order one this year as it was not very noticeable when you registered on Infinite Campus. You can still order a yearbook for your student!  Our book is designed & created by our very own 7th and 8th graders - it is a total labor of love. It’s 100 pages, full color, hardbound and a really nice keepsake.

Heritage HS Showcase Night

Littleton Stride Information:

Come out and support Newton at the Stride on Sunday, October 24th! The more people that register and mark down Newton as the school they are supporting, the better chance we have at winning $1,000 for our school. Here are the details about the event:

• Different events to choose from: 5k, 10k and Kids Fun Run (kids 10 and younger only)

• In-person participants can run or walk

• Virtual participants can Stride Their Way, meaning run, walk, skip, jump, hike, swim, bike, or even sleep in…whatever you want!

• Costumes are welcome, however they must be school appropriate

• Strollers are welcome but pets must stay at home
