Hello Newton Community,
We'd love to see you at our in-person PTO meeting this Friday, Oct 22nd from 9:30-11:00am. Please bring a friend and a mask and meet us in the professional development room at Newton. Attached is the agenda and LPS Foundation Spotlight newsletter.
Please get to know the LPS Board of Education candidates and make sure to vote Nov. 2 to fill the three seats that will be vacant. Candidates are Joan Anderssen, Angela Christensen, Dale Elliott, Andrew Graham, and Jon Lisec. Board members Jack Reutzel and Kelly Perez are finishing their second term on the Board and cannot run for a third due to term limits. Carrie Warren-Gully’s term is also ending. She resigned from the Board in December after being elected to the Arapahoe County Commission. Angela Christensen was appointed by the Board in early March to complete the remainder of Warren-Gully’s term. For more info, check out the LPS website Newsroom link. https://littletonpublicschools.net/district/nr/board-education-candidate-forum-held-october-6-2021

Online registration closes at noon on Friday. Register at runthestride.com. In-person events include the 5k, 10k, and kids fun run, and you can run or walk. If you do it virtually, you can Stride Your Way, meaning run, walk, skip, jump, hike, swim, bike, or even sleep in…whatever you want!
All registrations received by noon on Friday will be counted toward the contest. Race day registrations will not count.
If you are doing the event in person, please wear your Newton shirt to represent our school and come meet us at the Newton tent!
