May 13th, 2022

Good Evening Parents, Guardians and Students:

Congratulations to Mrs. Bransgrove and Ms. Newman and all of our performing arts students. Your performances were nothing short of absolutely amazing. What a great manner in which to cap off a wonderful school year.

A reminder for students to sort through our lost and found items in the cafeteria as we have several items that are looking for their home. We will discard or donate all of the items in the cafeteria on Monday, May 23rd.

The gardening club will hold its annual staff plant sale next Tuesday (5/17) after-school at the greenhouse. The young gardeners have been working hard, and we have a wide variety of vegetables and herbs for sale. All plants are $1. The proceeds go to the 'Newton Kids Fund' and into the Knight Time budget. Bring a box/container to transport your plants.

Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you next Tuesday.

As we are winding down the school  year please see the attached schedule for the final week of school. Please note that the eighth grade will have continuation rehearsal the morning of May 18th at 11:05 am. We will conduct our continuation/recognition awards ceremony for the eighth graders at 2:00 pm on May 19th. Our eighth graders do not need to report to school on the 19th until 1:30 pm in order to line up for the continuation. They will need to enter the building through our athletic entrance. Our eighth graders are also not required to attend on the 20th as this is an early release day and we will be conducting our recognition and awards ceremonies for our sixth and seventh graders. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Students, we are quickly approaching the end of the school year. Finish strong, do your best and have a great last week of school.
