ALL STATE CHOIR ANNOUNCEMENT:

We had 12 students selected for All State choir this year. This is an unusually talented and hardworking bunch of students. This is a great honor for the students, their families and Newton Middle School. We will have additional information regarding the performance at the All State Choir event as the event draws nearer. Holiday gifts for NMS SROs:

Please help to say THANK YOU to our SROs this holiday season!  Our wonderful Arapahoe County Sheriff's Department SROs help keep our students, teachers and staff safe every day.  Deputy John and Deputy Travis not only support school safety but they serve as positive law enforcement role models while also educating students on the dangers of drugs/alcohol as well as digital safety tools.  Of course, don't forget the K9 therapy dogs:  NMS kids (and adults!) love it when Rex, Zeke or Riley visit - don't miss this great video from 9News last night featuring Deputy John and Rex.   NMS parent Caitlin Quattromani is collecting donations in any amount that will be used to purchase gift cards for Deputy John and Deputy Travis as well as a contribution to the Back The Blue K9 Force non-profit which supports the Arapahoe County Sheriff's K9 teams.  If you'd like to donate please do so via Venmo (@CQuattromani, last 4 digits 4089) or by dropping a check off at the NMS front office (made out to Caitlin Quattromani).  100% of donations will go to benefit our NMS SROs!  Please send or drop off your donation no later than Friday, December 9th!  Thank you in advance for your support and happy holidays!
