Important Information for 8th Grade Students:

Welcome to the 2023/2024 school year! This year marks the 60th year of Arapahoe High celebrating  excellence, tradition and innovation!  As your current 8th graders, the Class of 2028, start exploring their high school options we hope they will consider our storied institution, and Become A Warrior!

AHS is excited to announce the dates for our popular Shadow Day program.  This is an incredible opportunity for current 8th grade students as Shadow Days provide a unique perspective for future warriors to experience the Arapahoe High School culture alongside current Warriors.   We continue to encourage parents/guardians to participate in the day with their children. While students are observing classes, parents will have the opportunity to ask questions of our principal, Mrs. Natalie Pramenko, and take a tour of our building.

Shadow days will take place on Sept 19, Oct 10, Nov 9 and Dec 8, with options for either a morning or an afternoon session. The capacity for each session is 50 students. Students will only be able to bring a maximum of 1 parent to the shadow day. The sign-ups will be starting September 1 on the Incoming Freshmen Page on the AHS Website.  I have included a Save the Date Card as an attachment for your reference.

Have a great Labor Day Weekend.

Principal, Newton Middle School
