Good Morning Parents/Guardians and Students:
Today will mark the end of our first quarter. I will describe how our grading and conferences work.
All grades shown in Infinite Campus and Parent Portal are progress grades. We give final grades/report card grades at semester time which will occur at winter break. Final grades will be posted for the semester in January. All grades are posted in Infinite Campus, we do not issue paper report cards.
For sixth grade only, elective grades are posted quarterly. These are posted in Infinite Campus now. Sixth grade students switch electives each quarter.
Tonight we are hosting parent conferences. At Newton we do not conduct any type of arena conferences. All of our conferences are by invite and appointment only arranged by our administrative team or our teachers.
Please access Infinite Campus or Parent Portal for any grades or attendance questions on a regular basis. If you have a question for a specific teacher please feel free to contact that teacher via email.
If you have any questions please let me know. Students please enjoy the next five days off.
