Good Evening Parents, Students and Guardians:

BUY A YEARBOOK?
Good News!! 295 Newton Student have purchased their 2024 yearbook. Bad News!! That means almost 2/3 of Newton students don't have a yearbook reserved for 2024 yet. All Newton yearbooks will be purchased directly from our publisher and will be delivered to students at school in May.  Yearbooks are $40, and there is a $3.99 processing fee, for a total book cost of $43.99.  To order, click on this link or visit yearbookordercenter.com and enter "7571" for your school code or search for “Newton Middle School".

Parents and Students!!  The yearbook staff needs your photos to help us tell your stories this year.  We particularly need photos from 6th and 7th grade students. Please come to our book fair and grab all your books for fall and holiday reading! Proceeds from the fair help to buy books for our library!! Traffic Light Update
Last Friday, Mr. Wyckhuyse met with the City Traffic Engineers at the City of Centennial and after three years, we have been able to get them to agree to turn off the "Do not turn" signs.  It was agreed upon that we would remind our parents that this change would still require drivers to come to a complete stop on Red lights before proceeding.  Additionally, they are extending the left turn lane length by 5 seconds in the morning to allow more opportunities to turn left into our parking lot from the west, to alleviate the line backing up to Colorado. Winter weather is coming and with that, we will see up to a 50% increase in parents dropping off their children on snowy days.  We ask that you remain cautious, patient and vigilant to keep our students and staff safe in the cross walks.

OCTOBER CODE CART REQUESTS:
We need your assistance! Here is the link for the sign up genius for the CODE shop for students and teachers  If items could please be dropped off in the office by Monday, Oct 23 that would be helpful.  The next CODE Shop for students will be Thursday, Oct 26th.  Thank you very much!!
