 Good Morning Parents/Guardians and Students:


I hope you are all enjoying your additional two days off in the snow. There is a lot of information packed into this newsletter so please read carefully. 


  • PBIS is looking for a few items for the next student CODE shop day which is next week, Thurs March 21st. Please access this sign up genius link if you can help out. Thank you!

  • Lost and Found will be cleaned out this Wednesday, March 20th at 8 am.  Please encourage your students to check the lost and found and bring home any of their items before Tuesday.

  • Please access this link for our CMAS testing schedule. We will begin after our spring break on April 8th.

  • Please consider donating kleenex to our school as the cold and flu season has taken its toll on our supply.  Donations can be dropped off at the front office. Thank you.


Important Stuco Spirit Week Information:

This year for our Spirit Week Newton stuco is partnering with Arapahoe's wish week! We are helping Alyson, a 10 year old girl, meet her goal of meeting the US Olympic gymnastics team. She is battling cancer and we can help her by donating to your grade level collector all next week, and by dressing up for spirit week! We will have donation buckets in each pod all week. Events for spirit week March 18-22:


  • Monday-Dress like your favorite candy. Alyson loves sour patch kids.

  • Tuesday -Dress as your favorite music artist or wear their shirt! Alyson loves Taylor swift!

  • Wednesday-Sport days she loves to play sports like gymnastic and ballet  **Skate City Night 6-8pm Newton only**

  • Thursday-Dress like you're at the movies or wear a favorite movie shirt. Alyson loves watching movies.

  • Friday Blue out day! Alyson's favorite color is blue **All School Assembly**

Yearbook Information:

DOUBLE BONUS SNOW DAY PICTURES

How did you spend your Double Bonus Snow Days?  Did you sled? Ski? Snowshoe? Chase your Dog around the yard?  What indoor fun did you have?  The Yearbook wants to know!!

Last Chance to Buy Yearbooks

We have 28 YEARBOOKS still available for purchase.  The deadline to purchase a yearbook is Next Friday, March 22nd.

National Junior Honor Society Information:

If your child has a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 they have earned the opportunity to apply for membership in the Isaac Newton Chapter of National Junior Honor Society for the 2024-2025 school year. Please note this is an OPTIONAL service club.  


NJHS, is a student-led organization that promotes service and leadership.  Our members strive to achieve academic and personal excellence, demonstrate unfailing leadership, seek involvement in the community through community service, demonstrate good character, and dedicate themselves to the ongoing endeavor of scholarship. 


If your child is interested in applying for consideration, please remind them that applications are due no later than Friday,  April 5th.


Streetsmart at Southglenn Information:

Streetsmart is holding a Donation Sock Drive till April 7th. Donate socks to earn points and provide socks to people experiencing homelessness. Drop off NEW socks in a collection bin at Artworks in Southglenn and upload a photo of your

donation to earn 100 points per pair OR you can drop off your socks in the Donation Sock Bin in the main office of Newton. We are looking to collect 250 new socks! Let's "Sock It To Em" Newton Middle School Families!
