Good Afternoon Parents/Guardians:
A reminder to all parents that the week of October 25th is designated in LPS as Child Safety Week. We will be conducting several activities here at Newton Middle School. The district will also be sponsoring a Safe Talk workshop on the 24th.
We will be holding our Newton Accountability meeting on the afternoon of October 25 th from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm in our Library. This is a change from our normal meeting date as our regular date would conflict with our teacher/parent conferences. Anyone who is interested in attending NAC is welcome!
PTO will be conducting a food drive again during parent conferences, this food will help replenish our store of food that we use for our backpack program and go to other food banks. Please bring in your non-perishable food items and drop them off at the main office during conferences.
We will be hosting our fall parent/teacher conferences next week from 4:00 to 7:30 pm on Wednesday the 17th and Thursday the 18th. Specific information regarding the conferences is posted on our Newton Website.
