Good Afternoon Parents/Guardians:
If you attended our concerts this week you will agree
that we had three wonderful performances. Thanks to Mr. Fox, Ms. Andrews and
all of the students for making these past three concert evenings very special!
As a reminder we only do one fundraiser a year here at
Newton. We are on our way to reaching our fundraising goal, however, we still
need your help as we are short of where we need to be.
To date we have had only 20% of our Newton families
participate and we are hoping for 100% participation. Every donation counts and
they are 100% tax deductible. The money raised by our PTO will help fund new
seating in our mini theater, support programs like Reading Counts and Run with
the Knights.
To those who have given already, we are grateful for your
donation. If you haven't had the chance yet please take a moment to go to our
website and click on the Brighter Futures Campaign button and make your
donation.
Thank you for your consideration and support.
I am attaching an informational flier regarding a parenting program that will be offered by Heather Spraggins at Options
Alternative Middle School in January. Please contact Heather if you are
interested in attending.
Only five more school days to winter break, enjoy your
weekend!
Respectfully,
James O'Tremba
Principal, Newton Middle School
