Good Afternoon Parents/Guardians:

Thanks to everyone who attended Back to School Night last night. We had a wonderful evening. We enjoyed meeting many new parents to Newton and it was a great turn out. If you have any feedback regarding the evening please feel free to e-mail me.

We are in need of accountability committee members. This committee meets once a month for approximately an hour to an hour and a half. It is an informative committee that provides specific information to parents regarding almost anything that is happening here at Newton. Topics include staffing, budget, district initiatives curriculum etc. If you are interested in serving on the committee please let me know. Our meeting dates are as follows:  September 15th, October 13th, November 17th, January 19th, February 16th, March 16th and April 20th. We meet at 4:00 pm in the Newton library. We are also in need of someone to serve on the district accountability committee to represent Newton.
