Good Afternoon Parents and Guardians:

Only three weeks to go for the Newton Discovery Fund Drive.  Thank you to the 125 households that have contributed to date.  Participation now stands at 20% - we are still striving for 100%.

The Homeroom Participation Contest is in full swing.  Remember that all donations made since July 1 count and we are tallying donation participation in the Fund Drive each week throughout October.

There has never been a better time to invest in your child’s/children's educational experience at Newton.  Donations mean enhancing that experience with equipment upgrades and an array of enrichment programs that benefit all students.

Please donate on-line through the NMS Discovery Fund Drive link on Newton's website or by cash/check (payable to Newton PTO) in the School Office. Every single donation helps to make a difference.  Feel great - donate!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Bad Daddy’s for the Newton Community KNight.  Lots of fun AND we raised a bit of money for the Fund Drive.

We are so grateful to Bad Daddy’s for their full support of Newton…can we now count on yours?

Best of luck to all the Homerooms as we enter week 2 of the Homeroom Participation Contest!

Eighth grade baby ads are due for the yearbook by December 5th. Please follow the link provided. If you have any questions please refer to Mrs. Jesse Andrews teacher page on our website under the yearbook tab.

A paper copy of the flier will also go home with students next week in homeroom. If you are still interested in ordering a yearbook the price is $40.00 you can send in cash or make a check out to NMS and send it to Jesse Andrews.

As part of school safety month, we are providing you an opportunity to tell us Newton is doing on school safety and culture.  Please take a few minutes to fill out the following survey.

School Climate Survey

Thanks again for all of your support. Have a great weekend.
Respectfully,
James O'Tremba
Principal, Newton Middle School
