 Good Afternoon Parents/Guardians and Students:

Halloween:

This year for Halloween students will be able to dress in costume for the day. Our Newton dress code needs to be followed. Students can wear makeup, however no masks covering their faces are allowed, we need to be able to identify all students. Students are also not allowed to bring any weapon facimilies. If you have any questions regarding a costume please feel free to contact any administrator.

Please note we are not hosting a Halloween Dance.

PBIS CODE SHOP:

We need parent volunteers to join the PBIS Committee in helping kids spend their CODE Cards at the CODE Shop.  We need you once a month to join us in rewarding kids for the good things we catch them doing.  Students can redeem CODE Cards for food, candy, passes to get out of school or class early, to go to lunch early, Newton gear, and many other things we have not even thought of yet.

Parent volunteers will collect CODE Cards from students and hand them their item of choice.

Yearbook Announcement: Good News, we have sold 385 yearbooks.  Bad news, that is less than half of our student population.  Don't miss out, click on the link below to order your yearbook.  Enter our school code 7571 or search for Newton Middle in the search bar.

Newton Middle School After School Activities:

Just a reminder to all parents and students. If a student is out ill or out for any other reason for the entire school day they will not be allowed to participate in after school activities. We have had several students show up for after school activities who have not been in school for the day and then we need to send them home. If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for your assistance.

PTO Information:

We are looking for crockpot soup donations as well as salads and supplies. Please see the Sign Up Genius to see how you can help. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080545aaac2faafe3-soup
